Dr Janssen regards every client as an individual with specific circumstances, values, needs and strengths.

 

In all cases, therapy is a collaborative, client-focussed experience in which the therapeutic relationship is a central element.

Dr Janssen is an integrative practitioner. She draws upon a variety of evidence-based therapeutic models including:

 

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

  • Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy 

  • Acceptance Commitent Therapy (ACT)

  • Brief Solution Focused Therapy

  • Psychodynamic Therapy

  • Systemic Therapy

 

She tailors her therapeutic approach according to what is best for the each client given their situation and goals.
